DNV RP-C201 Plate/Stiffener Buckling (2010):

• Check ‘1.. Plate Buckling’ — requirement from Formula (5.1) for plates subjected to lateral pressure is not checked.

• Check ‘1.. Plate Buckling’ — parameter Kp (Formula (6.10)) is provided with an incorrect value when “Calculate Design Lateral Pressure by Formula 5.1” is selected. Selecting “User Defined Design Lateral Pressure” provides a correct Kp.

Workaround: For now, use User Defined Design Lateral Pressure and verify Formula (5.1) manually for plates under lateral pressure.
