Fatigue checks of the crane structures according Eurocode 3 EN 13001 FEM 1 001 using SDC Verifier

All structures subjected to repetitive loading have to be checked for Fatigue damage to define the residual lifetime, investigate or prevent cracks or failures. This helps with the design of new structures as well as with maintenance of the existing ones. SDC Verifier present complete set of tools to recognize the welds, define all classifications and calculate the fatigue checks according to multiple industries standards automatically. Eurocodes, FEM, EN, DNV, FKM, DVS codes are available. SDC Verifier works on top of Ansys Mechanical, Femap and Simcenter 3D. In this demonstration we covered the Fatigue checks of SDC Verifier and showed how to perform the residual lifetime analysis for the structure subjected to repetitive loading. Automatic recognition and classification of welds also presented.
