In Progress
Planned connection verification for offshore steel structures according to NORSOK N-004:2022.
NORSOK N-004 provides design requirements for offshore structures. The planned SDC Verifier support is intended for connection assessment in tubular offshore structural systems, where geometry, member forces, and code-specific resistance rules must be considered together.
Target verification scope
Planned workflow in SDC Verifier
The intended workflow is to identify or define supported joint geometry, bring in the relevant FEA design actions, review the governing utilization, and add the calculation to the SDC report. Supported joint configurations will be confirmed at release.
Availability
Development work is underway. Final check coverage and supported joint types will be confirmed before release.
Work directly within Ansys, Femap, or Simcenter 3D without switching platforms.
Perform code checks with built-in support for ABS, AISC, Eurocode, API, and more.
Detect overstressed areas and refine your design with data-driven decisions.
Generate customizable, fully traceable reports with all calculations and references.
