In Progress
Planned plate-buckling verification for crane steel structures according to EN 13001-3-1:2025.
Crane girders and other fabricated steel components can include plates and webs that require stability verification under compression, shear, and combined loading. The planned support is intended for applicable plated regions in crane structures within the released scope.
Target verification scope
Planned workflow in SDC Verifier
The intended workflow is to select supported plate regions, provide or recognize required geometry, map FEA stresses and actions to the check, and review the governing result. Final plate types and load treatment will be confirmed at release.
Availability
This check is on the SDC Verifier roadmap. The final plate geometry scope, calculation coverage, and release timing have not yet been finalized.
Work directly within Ansys, Femap, or Simcenter 3D without switching platforms.
Instantly identify beams, plates, welds, and joints in your FEA model.
Perform code checks with built-in support for ABS, AISC, Eurocode, API, and more.
Detect overstressed areas and refine your design with data-driven decisions.
Generate customizable, fully traceable reports with all calculations and references.
