ISO 19902 (1st, 2007)

ISO 19902:2007 provides detailed design and verification procedures for tubular structural members and joint connections in offshore platforms.

Scope of Application:

• Petroleum and natural gas industries
• Cylindrical members with:
  • Thickness ≥ 6 mm
  • D/t < 120
  • Yield strength < 500 MPa

Implemented Checks in SDC Verifier:

• Member Strength Checks using recognized Beam Member Finder data
• Hydrostatic Load Verification with support for wave velocity, still water level, and depth-based input
• Combined Use with AISC 360-10 for non-tubular shapes
