Implemented
Tubular joint verification according to ISO 19902:2020, Chapter 14, for offshore steel structures.
SDC Verifier supports tubular connection verification according to ISO 19902, 2nd Edition (2020), Chapter 14.
The implementation works with connections recognized directly from the FE model. Using Connection Finder, SDC Verifier identifies chords and braces together with their geometry and uses this data in the joint-strength calculation.
Brace classification determines whether each brace is treated as a K, TY, or Cross joint. The verification also uses material properties, axial forces, bending moments, brace effective lengths, and chord geometry, including chord cans where applicable.
The implementation also supports overlapping joints, including the additional shear, axial force, and combined loading checks required for these connection configurations.
This keeps tubular joint verification tied to the structural model instead of requiring engineers to recreate individual joints separately for code calculations.
Work directly within Ansys, Femap, or Simcenter 3D without switching platforms.
Perform code checks with built-in support for ABS, AISC, Eurocode, API, and more.
Detect overstressed areas and refine your design with data-driven decisions.
Generate customizable, fully traceable reports with all calculations and references.
