We’re constantly improving SDC Verifier to keep it at the forefront of structural engineering. Each new release brings innovative features, updated standards compliance, and bug fixes.

Here you can find detailed information about the latest developments in the newest version of SDC Verifier. Explore what’s new and see how these updates can support your design and verification work.

Improvements

1. Enhanced the store/restore procedure for models with large result sets.

  • Faster and more reliable saving/loading of large projects.
  • Reduced memory usage and lower risk of file corruption or crashes when handling heavy simulations.

2. Improved performance when generating fatigue and rainflow summation tables.

  • Significant reduction in calculation and report generation time.
  • Smoother handling of large fatigue datasets, improving productivity.

3. Improved Hot Spot Stress calculations for shell elements.

Improved Hot Spot Stress calculations for shell elements.

  • More accurate and reliable stress evaluation at critical points for shell models.
  • Reduces the need for manual verification or external correction, saving time and ensuring compliance with standards.

4. Minor updates and fixes in the Export to SDC SAM functionality.

  • Improved interoperability and smoother data exchange with SDC SAM.

5. Added Reapply All Winds/Waves option in SDC for Ansys.

  • Simplifies reanalysis when load definitions (winds/waves) are updated.

Bug Fixes

1. Standards updated to handle new internal variable

Removes the cases of incorrect checks results acquired in the 2025 R2 version of the software. Full list:

  • AISC ASD 89 (9th, 1989) – check Rectangular Tube (parameter B);
  • AISC 360-10 Members (14th, 2010) – checks Rectangular Tube (parameter Width), Section T (parameter Width);
  • AISC 360-22 Members (2022) – checks Rectangular Tube (parameter Width), Section T (parameter Width), Section L (parameter Width);
  • BV NR615 Plate Buckling (2023) – parameter Plate Width;
  • DNV CG-0128 Plate Buckling (2015) – parameter Plate Width;
  • DNV CG-0128 Plate Buckling (2023) – parameter Plate Width;
  • Eurocode3 Fire Design (EN 1993-1-2, 2005) – check I Shape (constant b used);
  • Eurocode3 Members (EN 1993-1-1, 2005) – checks I Shape (constant b used), L Shape (constant b used);
  • IACS UR S35 Plate Buckling (2023) – parameter Plate Width;
  • ISO 19902 (1st, 2007) – Axial, Bending and Hydrostatic Check (parameter B);
  • ISO 19902 (2nd, 2020) – checks Axial, Bending and Hydrostatic Check, Axial (parameter B), Bending, Shear, Torsion and Hydrostatic Check (parameter B);
  • LR CSR Plate Buckling (2024) – parameter Plate Width;
  • VDI 2230 (Part 1, 2015) – characteristic 34 Width of the clamped parts;

2. Fixed a problem when app crashed on selecting elements or nods in Simcenter 3D and Ansys.

  • Increases software stability and resolves the “Not enough quota is available to process this command” error

3. Resolved issue where no results appeared in Jobs containing a Finder condition in the selection.

  • Ensures reliable results display for filtered model sections
  • Prevents confusion and wasted time diagnosing missing results

4. Fixed a problem where fatigue summation results were not retained after reopening a project.

  • Prevents rework by ensuring fatigue results are saved and restorable

5. Corrected a typo in the title of the Eurocode 9 Welds (EN 1999-1-1:2007+A1:2009) standard.

6. Fixed incorrect formulas in the AS 4100 Fatigue (2020) standard:

  • Fatigue Check
      SDC Verifier
  • Rainflow Summation Check
      SDC Verifier
  • Guarantees engineering correctness and compliance with standards.
  • Prevents potentially unsafe or non-conservative results.

7. Fixed incorrect offset detection in the Connection Finder in SDC for Femap.

  • Ensures correct identification and alignment of connection elements.

8. Resolved crash occurring when changing the license type in SDC for CAE.

  • Increases software stability and user confidence during licensing changes.

9. Fixed error when opening denied files (e.g. from OneDrive) in SDC Verifier.

  • Provides clearer feedback and safer handling of restricted or cloud-synced files.
  • Prevents unexpected crashes and data loss when using shared environments.

10. Resolved issue where Principal Stress Contour Plot was not displayed in SDC for Femap/SDC Verifier with angle direction enabled.

  • Restores full visualization capability for stress plots.

11. Fixed SDC Verifier crashed when using multiple users on same PC.
